Soft and fluffy rolls filled with sweet cherry pie filling and topped with a creamy glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk the milk, melted butter, and egg in a separate bowl until well blended.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the surface.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Mix together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze on top of the warm rolls and serve.
Notes
For a variation, feel free to swap the cherry pie filling for your favorite fruit filling.
