Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface or unroll the crescent rolls and pinch the seams together.
- Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Cut the pastry into 4-inch squares and add spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture and cherry pie filling.
- Fold the corners of each square over the filling to form a Danish shape.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
