Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Whisk together warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Combine the flour and salt in a larger mixing bowl. Gradually add the yeast mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
- Whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Brush the garlic oil mixture generously over the dough, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and deliciously bubbly.
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy every cheesy bite!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat at 350°F in foil until warmed through.
