Description

Ingredients

  • 1 head of fresh cauliflower, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free if needed)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Start by steaming or boiling the chopped cauliflower until it is tender. Once cooked, drain the cauliflower and allow it to cool.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the cooled cauliflower until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  3. Add in the shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until fully combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small patties, making sure they hold together well.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown and crisp up nicely.
