Ingredients

  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semisweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1/4 cup sea salt (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the pretzel pieces with the caramel sauce until they’re completely coated.
  2. Spread this sticky mixture evenly in a lined 9×9 inch baking pan, ensuring it’s packed down firmly.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating them in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the pretzel mix, using a spatula to spread it evenly across the top.
  5. If you’re a fan of sweet-and-salty, sprinkle the sea salt over the chocolate layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until solidified.
