Description

Fluffy, gooey yeast rolls drizzled with caramel sauce, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups warm milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 to 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine the warm milk and sugar, and sprinkle the yeast on top. Let it stand for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in the melted butter and salt, followed by 2 cups of flour.
  3. Gradually add more flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle, then generously spread it with caramel sauce. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut it into slices.
  8. Arrange the slices in a greased baking dish and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Drizzle with more caramel sauce just before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience. Pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
