Description

Delicious cookies blending the rich flavors of espresso, caramel, and chocolate for an indulgent treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chips (if using).
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool the cookies on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks.

Notes

For chewier cookies, remove them from the oven as soon as the edges start to brown.
