- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chips (if using).
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool the cookies on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
Notes
For chewier cookies, remove them from the oven as soon as the edges start to brown.
