Description

A quick and delicious dish featuring tender chicken and linguine tossed in a rich garlic-butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it’s bubbling.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant—keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
  4. Toss in the sliced chicken, and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked linguine with the chicken and garlic mixture, tossing everything until well mixed.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving to add a pop of color and freshness.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu and feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
