Description
Delightful cookie bars combining rich butterscotch and crunchy toffee bits, perfect for gatherings or as a sweet treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
- Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar until it’s smooth and creamy.
- Incorporate the eggs and vanilla extract, blending thoroughly.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mix to your wet ingredients, stirring until everything is just combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips and toffee bits for that crunchy sweetness.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly in your prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Watch for the edges to turn a light golden brown.
- Let them cool in the pan, then cut into bars to serve.
Notes
