Description

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 cup butterscotch frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy (about 4-5 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour in the buttermilk and gently stir to combine.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in the butterscotch chips and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
