Description

Tender morsels of chicken coated in a flavorful seasoning and drizzled with a rich butter-garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 4 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and onion powder in a 1-gallon freezer bag. Seal the bag and shake to mix.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces into the bag and shake again until coated. Set aside.
  3. Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a small bowl.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken pieces and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Pour the butter-garlic mixture over the chicken and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the flour mixture for a few hours or overnight. Don’t hesitate to add more garlic for an intense flavor.
