  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, black pepper, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Toss the chicken wings in the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Allow them to sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
  6. Simmer the remaining marinade in a saucepan, adding cornstarch to thicken if desired.
  7. Brush the sauce over the wings before serving.
