Description

A gourmet dish featuring tender salmon fillets grilled with juicy peaches and drizzled in a rich bourbon glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
  2. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the grill or skillet with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  6. Add the peach slices to the grill in the final minute of cooking to caramelize slightly.
  7. Remove both the salmon and peaches from heat and drizzle the bourbon sauce generously over the salmon.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Feel free to substitute bourbon with apple cider or a non-alcoholic version for a family-friendly alternative. Marinate salmon in the bourbon sauce for more flavor.
