Description
A gourmet dish featuring tender salmon fillets grilled with juicy peaches and drizzled in a rich bourbon glaze.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Combine the bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Brush the grill or skillet with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Add the peach slices to the grill in the final minute of cooking to caramelize slightly.
- Remove both the salmon and peaches from heat and drizzle the bourbon sauce generously over the salmon.
- Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
Feel free to substitute bourbon with apple cider or a non-alcoholic version for a family-friendly alternative. Marinate salmon in the bourbon sauce for more flavor.
