Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. If you’re using homemade dough, roll it out on a floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking tray or pizza stone.
  3. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly across the dough, leaving a crust around the edges. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange the fresh blackberries atop the ricotta. If you love cheesy flavors, sprinkle mozzarella over the fruit.
  5. Drizzle olive oil on top for an added layer of richness.
  6. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden, crispy, and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Once out of the oven, garnish with torn basil leaves. Optional: Drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze before slicing.
  8. Let it cool slightly before digging in!
