Description
A tantalizing twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring melting cheese and crunchy dill pickles between crispy, buttery bread.

- 2 slices of bread (sourdough, whole grain, or classic white)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone)
- 4–5 dill pickle slices
- Butter for grilling
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice of bread in it, butter side down.
- Layer a slice of cheese on the bread, then add 4-5 dill pickle slices on top of the cheese.
- Top it off with another slice of cheese, followed by the second slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melting.
- Slice into triangles and serve!
Notes
Consider pairing it with fresh tomato soup or a simple green salad. For vegan options, use plant-based cheese and butter alternatives.
