Description

A delightful twist on the classic pizza featuring crispy crust, tangy BBQ sauce, tender chicken, and melty mozzarella.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased pizza pan and brush the edges with olive oil.
  4. Shred or chop the cooked chicken and toss it with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.
  5. Spread the remaining BBQ sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the BBQ sauce.
  7. Distribute the BBQ chicken pieces and sliced red onions evenly over the cheese.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  10. Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top immediately after removing from the oven.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or freeze for longer storage.
