Description

A hearty and mouthwatering BBQ Brisket Melt Sandwich combines tender brisket with cheesy goodness, all wrapped in buttery, toasty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs brisket
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • Butter for grilling
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook your brisket: Start by preparing the brisket according to your chosen method: smoke it low and slow, slow cook it, or use a pressure cooker for quicker results.
  2. Shred and sauce: Once the brisket is cooked to perfection, shred it using two forks and mix it with the BBQ sauce.
  3. Prep your skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of a slice of bread.
  4. Layer it up: Place the buttered side down in the skillet, and start layering: add brisket, followed by a slice of cheese and top it with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
  5. Grill away: Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
  6. Repeat for the remaining sandwiches.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Pair with coleslaw or pickles for a crunch. Sweet potato fries or potato chips make great sides.
