Description

A delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake, spiced apples, and a crunchy graham cracker crust topped with a nutty streusel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this crust mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Pour this creamy mixture over the prepared crust.
  4. Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon, flour, oats, and brown sugar until well coated.
  5. Distribute the apple mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers. Add a splash of lemon juice for extra flavor.
