- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this crust mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Pour this creamy mixture over the prepared crust.
- Toss the sliced apples with cinnamon, flour, oats, and brown sugar until well coated.
- Distribute the apple mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the edges are golden brown.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham crackers. Add a splash of lemon juice for extra flavor.
