Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt cake pan generously.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl; set aside.
- Whisk together the sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth and well-blended in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding until just combined.
- Incorporate the diced apples and nuts if you’re using them gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it carefully to a wire rack.
- Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth for the frosting.
- Drizzle the frosting over the top of the cooled cake before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added richness.
