Ingredients
Scale
4 cups frozen corn kernels (or fresh)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the Skillet: Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Cook the Corn: Add the frozen or fresh corn to the skillet and stir. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is thoroughly heated and begins to brown lightly at the edges.
- Add Honey & Sugar: Pour the honey and add the brown sugar to the corn. Stir well to coat the kernels.
- Season: Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Stir everything together until well combined and the honey butter starts to thicken slightly.
- Simmer: Let the corn simmer for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, so the flavors meld together.
- Garnish & Serve: Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
